VOTE NO ON 9-185
Deschutes County Voters deserve countywide accountability.
Voting YES for this ballot measure disenfranchise 80% of the county's voters. Each commissioner would represent a district with only 20% of the county’s voters.
Vote NO:
Every commissioner makes decisions for every Deschutes County resident.
Every voter votes for every commissioner under the current at-large system
Vote YES:
Under a district system, each voter votes for only one commissioner.
That means each voter holds only one commissioner directly accountable.
